Professional Relations Team Dedicated to You

Delta Dental of Illinois has a Professional Relations team to help serve our valued dental partners. The team, headed by Dr. Jason Grinter, includes Professional Services and Professional Review. 

The Professional Relations team acts as the liaison for dental offices, building and maintaining Delta Dental PPO, Delta Dental Premier, DeltaCare DHMO, and Medicare Advantage networks in Illinois. Of course, a key responsibility of this team is providing support to our network dentists and dental offices, including addressing dental office concerns and conducting dental office training, and retaining dentists.

The team also oversees professional services, including credentialing and re-credentialing and electronic file transfers to expedite efficient claims processing.

Team members also oversee Professional Review, conducting claims review, responding to appeals, investigating grievances and quality of care concerns, as well as developing policy guidelines and training.
