  We can customize or match a dental plan to fit your clients’ needs. We offer individually underwritten plans for groups with more than 150 eligible employees and have fully-insured, self-funded and voluntary options available.

    

    

    

  Flexible plans for small groups
  We offer a suite of flexible dental plans for small groups with 2-150 eligible employees. Our small group plans offer deductible and annual maximum options, as well as the ability to move coverages from Major to Basic.

    

    

    

  Comprehensive plans for individuals and families
  Our individual and family plans provide comprehensive dental coverage and are available for Illinoisans who are not eligible or do not have an employer-sponsored dental plan.

  Delta Dental of Illinois is partnering with Amplifon to offer a comprehensive hearing health discount program.

• Larger Network and Better Access

  Delta Dental of Illinois offers access to three nationwide networks: Delta Dental PPO^SM, Delta Dental Premier^® and DeltaCare^®. Find a Delta Dental network dentist now.

  • Delta Dental PPO is a PPO network, where dentists who participate agree to reduced costs as payment in full. Members who use a Delta Dental PPO will have the lowest out-of-pocket costs.

  • Delta Dental Premier is a managed fee-for-service network where dentists agree to a maximum plan allowance as payment in full. Members who use a Delta Dental Premier dentist will have higher out-of-pocket costs compared to a Delta Dental PPO dentist, but lower out-of-pocket costs compared to a non-network dentist.
    
    Most plans feature Delta Dental PPO Plus Delta Dental Premier where members can received in-network benefits from both networks. This offers members more choice and network protections.

  • DeltaCare is a dental capitation/dental HMO network. DeltaCare members must use a DeltaCare dentist; there are no non-network benefits.

  Groups can offer Delta Dental PPO Plus Delta Dental Premier network solutions combined with a DeltaCare option. Delta Dental of Illinois can also offer DeltaCare on its own. 

    

  Nationwide access to large dental networks
  Our dentist networks are among the largest in the nation with more than 75% dentists nationwide participating. Nearly 85% of our members use a Delta Dental network dentist.  

    

    

  Dentist networks managed locally
  We have direct control over network management and own our dental network. All dentist recruitment is managed locally.

    

    

  

  Effective discount and network usage
  Our Delta Dental PPO network provides more savings, better discounts and higher network utilization than other dental benefits carriers. In fact, the Delta Dental PPO network delivers the industry’s best effective discount – averaging 22.4 percent nationally. That’s more than $4.5 billion in annual savings.
