The annual Community Grants Program continues to help alleviate obstacles to oral health care by working hand-in-hand with organizations statewide to make sure Illinois children can access quality health care.

The Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation is in partnership with the Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation for a $3 million grant program for COVID-19 relief efforts and to ensure Illinois children continue to have access to vital oral health services. Grants are for Federally Qualified Health Centers and other public health clinics integrating oral health into a primary health care setting and aim to assist Illinois health care providers who offer a safety net for children in need.

The Wisdom Tooth Award is designed to help expand or enhance an existing children’s oral health program in Illinois. Eligible organizations must have a physical presence in Illinois, benefit children and have an established program that provides oral health education and/or access to oral health resources and care.
