DeltaCare® Managed Care Network
DeltaCare Transition
Effective March 1, 2026, administration of your DeltaCare plan transitioned from Delta Dental of Illinois to Delta Dental Insurance Company (DDIC), a subsidiary of Delta Dental of California. Here is what you need to know:
How DeltaCare Works:
DeltaCare members must select a primary DeltaCare dentist and cannot get care from any other provider. We encourage you to select your Primary Care Dentist (PCD) during open enrollment, online at www.deltadentalins.com, or by calling Delta Dental Customer Service at 800-639-0327. If you don’t choose a DeltaCare PCD, the first DeltaCare general dentist you visit may become your PCD after they submit a qualifying claim. You’ll receive a letter confirming your new provider assignment. If you have questions, contact Delta Dental Insurance Company.*
*Delta Dental Insurance Company is administering Delta Dental of Illinois DeltaCare plans effective 3/1/26 and manages all DeltaCare USA plans.
How to Find a DeltaCare Dentist:
You can find a DeltaCare dentist by using the Provider Search tool. Choose DeltaCare USA as the network option to view providers in your area. (Please be sure to note if the office is closed to new patients. Members who have DeltaCare 183, 275, 285, or 385 plans must select an Illinois dentist.)
For questions or more information, you can contact our Customer Service team at 800-639-0327 or visit www1.deltadentalins.com/members/welcome-deltacare-usa.html.
