We’re making it easier for your employees to access their member ID number. Members can request their Delta Dental of Illinois member ID by calling our Customer Service at 800-323-1743.
Here’s how it works:
- Do you have your member ID?
- Yes: press #1
- No: press #2 (this will prompt member ID search below)
- Would you like to look up your member ID?
- Yes: press #1 (select #1 to prompt member ID search below)
- No: press #2 or stay on the line
- Enter DOB followed by #:
- Enter 2 digits for month
- Enter 2 digits for day
- Enter 4 digits for year
- Press #

After following these prompts, members will be provided with their member ID number.
Beginning January 2026, our customer service hours will be updated to better serve your employees/members:
New hours:
- 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday – Wednesday
- 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday

Member Connection Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
We are committed to safeguarding your employees’ data and as a result, Delta Dental of Illinois’ online Member Connection will require MFA next year. As we add an extra layer of security to our online Member Connection, MFA was optionally available for members starting October 1, 2025, and will be required on January 1, 2026.
Members Can Go Paperless with Electronic Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
Delta Dental of Illinois members can enroll in Go Green E-Statements through our secure online Member Connection portal so they receive their EOBs by email.
Receiving EOBs by email is an eco-friendly way to:
- Receive statements quicker
- Keep personal information secure
- Get real-time updates anytime, anywhere
To check enrollment or opt-in to Go Green E-Statements, members can login to the Member Connection portal and click on “My Benefits,” then “Go Green E-Statements."
