Delta Dental of Illinois Appoints New Senior Vice President, Finance
Insurance Finance Veteran Strengthens Delta Dental of Illinois’ Executive Leadership Team.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (April 29, 2026) – Delta Dental of Illinois is pleased to welcome Chris S. Kim as senior vice president, finance. Focused on aligning financial performance with long-term priorities, Kim will lead financial planning, forecasting, strategy, underwriting and actuarial. He will work closely with senior leadership to ensure profitable enterprise growth, optimize capital and investment management and support long-term sustainability.

Kim joins Delta Dental of Illinois with more than 25 years of experience across insurance carriers, brokerages and accounting firms. His professional background includes corporate governance, enterprise risk management, regulatory engagement and investor relations, along with a strong track record across the full finance function, including financial planning, reporting and capital strategy.

Most recently, Kim served as chief financial officer of Vericity (Fidelity Life and eFinancial), where he led financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, internal audit and investment management. During his time at the company, he oversaw several key initiatives connected to sustained growth and business transformation. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at PwC and General Electric.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from University of Missouri-Columbia and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
