Mouth-GuardWatch your teeth! (You. Not the players.)

When playing a contact sport, especially hockey, it is important to wear a mouthguard to protect your smile. Wearing a mouthguard prevents oral and facial injuries and ensures that you keep your pearly whites. While broken bones and sprains heal, injuries to teeth can be permanent.

To encourage the use of mouthguards and good oral health habits in general to help ensure a lifetime of healthy smiles, Delta Dental of Illinois is proud to partner with the Chicago Blackhawks during Children's Dental Health Month and give away tickets to one of our favorite family-friendly activities: A Blackhawks game! Four winners will receive four club-level tickets to one of the following games: February 24 vs. Florida Panthers at 7:30 p.m.; March 6 vs. Edmonton Oilers at 7:30 p.m.; March 17 vs. New York Islanders at 7:30 p.m.; or April 7 vs. Minnesota Wild at 7:30 p.m.

Entering is easy. Just go to Delta Dental of Illinois' Facebook page, tell us what about the Blackhawks makes you smile, enter your information and submit! The drawing ends on Thursday, February 12. Winners will be notified via email by February 13, 2015.

There's nothing we love more than healthy smiles – but Blackhawks games are a close second. Good luck, and go Blackhawks!
