Below, you will find 3 Illinois organizations that welcome women faced with this challenge.

1. Gilda's Club- Chicago – Gilda's Club is a warm and welcome meeting place where those affected by cancer can join with others to build social, emotional and informational support as an essential supplement to medical care. Programs and membership are provided free of charge.

2. The Cancer Support Center – The Cancer Support Center provides free resources that help people improve their quality of life while battling cancer. Programs are facilitated by experienced clinical professionals.

3. Imerman Angels – Imerman Angels carefully matches a person touched by cancer with someone who has fought and survived the same type of cancer. These relationships provide hope and comfort from someone who is uniquely familiar with the experience.
