Delta Dental of Illinois offers Illinois groups choices. Illinois-based groups with two or more employees can select from an array of plans.

Delta Dental PPO

Delta Dental PPO combines freedom of choice with cost-savings incentives. Network dentists agree to reduced fees, lowering out-of-pocket costs for enrollees and claim costs for employers.

Nearly 117,000 dentists nationwide participate in Delta Dental PPO.

Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier work together to form a powerful combination. Because of this, on average 80% of our clients' enrollees use a network dentist, as compared to the industry average of 30-40%. For more information, click here.

Delta Dental Premier

Delta Dental Premier is a managed fee-for-service plan with a difference. Unique agreements with network dentists generate the industry's most effective cost controls. Three out of four dentists nationwide (more than 196,000 dentist locations) and 70% of dentists in Illinois participate in the Delta Dental Premier network.

DeltaCare

DeltaCare is a dental HMO that offers maximum cost savings for employers and enrollees while assuring quality controls.  The DeltaCare network has dentists practicing in over 23,000 locations nationwide.

Delta Dental PPO, Delta Dental Premier and DeltaCare are offered on a national basis through the Delta Dental system of member companies.

And Delta Dental PPO, Delta Dental Premier and DeltaCare can be offered on a fully insured, self-funded/administrative services only (ASO) or voluntary basis.

ToGo Carryover Feature 

We offer a ToGo feature that gives enrollees the ability to carryover any qualified, unused portion of their annual maximum in a given year and apply it to their ToGo bank, increasing their total dollars for treatment. For more information, click here. 

 

Dual Choice Dental with a Monthly Switch Option 

We offer a dual choice monthly switch option feature to Delta Dental PPO and DeltaCare, which allows enrollees to switch between these two plans on a monthly basis - not just at open enrollment.  Click here to view the brochure explaining this feature.

We offer a suite of small business products designed for groups with two to 49 employees.

Rates for these group segments are pooled for the best overall savings. Our competitive, flexible small business products are easy to administer and provide wide-ranging coverage for diagnostic and preventive, minor, major, and orthodontic services.

Our plans offer tremendous flexibility, offering several deductible, annual maximum and orthodontic maximums to meet unique group needs. Our managed fee-for-service and PPO plans offer three options - Platinum, Gold, and Silver, which allow groups to move a grouping of minor restorative coverages to major services if they choose. Our PPO plan also features a MAC (Maximum Allowable Charge) program and MAC voluntary program. All plans offer DeltaCare DHMO as an option as well.
