About Our Inkind Donation Program
Nonprofit organizations and public health programs are invited to apply for support in the form of:
*children’s oral health kits that include toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and oral healthcare tips for parents and caregivers in English and Spanish
*oral health brochures (please contact the Foundation for available brochures)
*Teeth on the Go for the classroom book bag curriculum kit that teaches young children the importance of oral health and how to care for their teeth. It can be used in a classroom/childcare setting, in dentist and pediatrician offices and any other setting where an adult is educating children and/or their caregivers on how to take care of their teeth. The program incorporates a variety of visual and audio learning tools and includes instruction on the importance of oral health to a child's overall health, the impact of nutrition on teeth and proper oral hygiene and tooth brushing techniques. Due to the cost of each kit, we will only donate one kit per site.
Eligibility
*Illinois organizations that primarily serve children;
*Illinois organizations that serve individuals that have limited and or no access to oral health resources.
Nonprofit organizations and public health programs applying are eligible to receive inkind donations once each calendar year. Applications must be submitted 60 days in advance of the day when the donation is required. Once selected, organizations will be notified as to how they can pick up or receive their donation. DDIL Foundation requests that organizations receiving inkind donations recognize DDIL Foundation as part of your organization’s project sponsors or partners when applicable to this donation.
